fathers day poems

fathers day poems

BETWEEN feathers frightened, between nights,
between magnolias, between telegrams,
between the wind of the South and West marine,
fathers days you come flying.

Under the graves under the ashes poems
under the frozen snails love poems
under the latest terrestrial waters,
you come flying.

Below, between submerged girls,
and blind plants and broken fish,
below, between clouds again,
fathers day poems you come flying.

Beyond blood and bones,
beyond bread, beyond the wine,
beyond the fire poem
you come flying.

Beyond the vinegar and death,
between putrefacciones and violets,
with your heavenly voice and your wet shoes,
you come flying.

On provincial councils and pharmacies,
wheels, and lawyers, and ships,
fathers day and red teeth newly uprooted
you come flying.

On sunken roof cities
that big women destrenzan
lost Combs, with wide hands
love poems you come flying.

With wineries where the wine grows
with warm murky hands in silence
with slow hands of red wood,
you come flying.
