I'll give you my heart; I'll open it up,
Will you listen to its small still voice?
For soft and quiet my heart will speak
To the one I'll call my wife.
Did you hear it dear? Did you listen well?
Do you understand what it said?
For deep is the love that it speaks to you,
Deep as the rose is red.
So, take my heart and treat it well
And forever in this life,
Come walk with me, your hand in mine,
The one I'll call my wife.

Cry Of The River
There in the trigger
Of Africa's gun,
Lies a giant river
Rich in culture and wealth.
There's a loud cry
From that river
For an answer
Why she ceased to flow
There's a loud cry
From that river
Why she is
Now filled with tears.
There's a cry
From the fishes,
That has nothing
Nothing else to eat.
There's a cry
From the river
Drenched in her own
Fishes blood.
There's a loud cry
From the river
That has no where to flow
And her pride lost long ago.
There's a cry
From mother fish
That just lost
Another fry.
There's a cry
From the river
That has been abused
And caged.
There's a cry
From Nigeria
For a reason
How she became this.
There's a cry
From the people
Whose pride
Are battered and shatterd.
There's a cry
From the river
Asking how
The rain never falls again.
There's a cry
From an old mother
Who has just
Lost her last child.
There's a cry
From this poet
For a reason
Only heaven knows.

Knew ways to know one another
When we die it is over, but the soul's life of life goes on for an
infinite existence, still most of us return to be born right here on
earth or in some worlds in some other universes that are very similar.
Most will continue their destructive abusive patterns. For what, for
more way for the races to abuse one another, yes to know one another and
love one another. New ways to abuse each other, yes and knew ways to
care for one another, as well as to appreciate one another.

An Ode to Belle
This is Belle's story
An ode to Cab Sav
Tick, tock, tick, tock...ad infinitum
O woe is me
Crash, bang, wallop
Where are the drugs?
Six empty bottles
Black hole...

Carol
I'm not a nasty man,
I'd never hit a girl!
I'd never snitch on anyone,
nor dirty wash unfurl!
But Carol seems to change all that,
I often pull her hair,
I shout at her quite loud at times,
but Carol doesn't care.
I kick her out of bed at night,
And slap her bottom good,
Whenever she doesn't do what's right,
and I know she really should.
I tell myself the day will come,
When she'll jump at my command,
And I won't have to punish her,
and make her kiss my hand.
But in the meantime try I will,
Her bruises will all mend,
'Cause after all, it is often said,
'A dog is a man's best friend! '

Love Is ...
Love Is ...
Love is the greatest feeling,
Love is like a play,
Love is what I feel for you,
Each and every day,
Love is like a smile,
Love is like a song,
Love is a great emotion,
That keeps us going strong,
I love you with my heart,
My body and my soul,
I love the way I keep loving,
Like a love I can't control,
So remember when your eyes meet mine,
I love you with all my heart,
And I have poured my entire soul into you,
Right from the very start.

Never Have I Fallen
Never Have I Fallen
Your lips speak soft sweetness
Your touch a cool caress
I am lost in your magic
My heart beats within your chest
I think of you each morning
And dream of you each night
I think of your arms being around me
And cannot express my delight
Never have I fallen
But I am quickly on my way
You hold a heart in your hands
That has never before been given away

Cherished Friends
Cherished Friends
God must have known there would be times
We'd need a word of cheer,
Someone to praise a triumph
Or brush away a tear.
He must have known we'd need to share
The joy of "little things"
In order to appreciate
The happiness life brings.
I think He knew our troubled hearts
Would sometimes throb with pain,
At trials and misfortunes,
Or goals we can't attain.
He knew we'd need the comfort
Of an understanding heart
To give us strength and courage
To make a fresh, new start.
He knew we'd need companionship,
Unselfish... lasting... true,
And so God answered the heart's great need
With cherished friends... like you!

You remind me of a flower
You remind me of a flower,
Pretty, inside and outside.
A reason why people smile everyday,
A gift to all.
You remind me of chocolate,
Luscious and sweet.
Someone people can turn to in crisis,
Loved by all.
You remind me of a teddy,
Cute and huggable.
Someone people feel comfortable with,
Special to all.
You remind me of a balloon,
Happy and bouncy.
Someone people can have fun with,
Enjoyed by all.
You remind me of a lot of things,
But nothing can compare to the real person,
A friend I can look up to,
Cherished by me.

The Gift Of Knowing You
The Gift Of Knowing You
There are gifts of many treasures
For both the young and old,
From the tiniest little trinkets
To great boxes filled with gold.
But, put them all together
And they could not stand in lieu,
Of the greatest gift of all
The gift of knowing you.
When your times are filled with troubles
Sadness, grief, or even doubt,
When all those things you planned on
Just aren't turning out.
Just turn and look behind you
From the place at which you stand,
And look for me through the shadows
And reach out for my hand.
I will lift from you your burden
And cry for you your tears,
Bear the pain of all your sorrows
Though it may be for a thousand years.
For in the end I would be happy
To have helped you start anew,
It's a small price to pay
For the gift of knowing you.

For Those Lost In 9/11
For Those Lost In 9/11
If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you,
And share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own,
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
Are impossible for me
I cannot build a mountain,
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there

A Friend's Greeting
A Friend's Greeting
I'd like to be the sort of friend that
you have been to me;
I'd like to be the help that
you've been always glad to be;
I'd like to mean as much to you
each minute of the day
As you have meant, old friend of mine,
to me along the way.
I'd like to do the big things and
the splendid things for you,
To brush the gray from out your skies
and leave them only blue;
I'd like to say the kindly things that
I so oft have heard,
And feel that I could rouse your soul
the way that mine you've stirred.
I'd like to give you back the joy
that you have given me,
Yet that were wishing you a need
I hope will never be;
I'd like to make you feel as rich as I,
who travel on
Undaunted in the darkest hours with you to
lean upon.
I'm wishing at this time that I
could but repay
A portion of the gladness that
you've strewn along my way;
And could I have one wish this year,
this only would it be:
I'd like to be the sort of friend
that you have been to me.

The Miracle Of Friendship
The Miracle Of Friendship
There is a miracle called Friendship
that dwells within the heart
and you don't know how it happens
or when it even starts.
But the happiness it brings you
always gives a special lift
and you realize that Friendship
is God's most precious gift.

The weapon that I gave you, soon used
The weapon that I gave you, soon used
The weapon you di soon used
to hurt me to treason and cold-blooded.
Today you claim the weapon again me,
and the heart that her you clavaste.
If in your power and force entrusted,

succeed in the battle in which you triunfaste.
Although still the blood from the side it mane
where the cutting edge dented your recklessness,
the time is now over your reign.
Made to the gestures of violence,

Today flight to the city in love
Today flight to the city in love
Today I return to the city in love
where one day the gods I envidiaron.
Its high towers, which for me shone,
pavesa are only dismantled.
From what I remember, there is nothing:
squares, streets, corners were deleted.
The Myrtle and the acanthus tricked me,
He misled me the heart of granada.
How could shut up so fast
the rumor of hidden water and easy to nest,
his song of tall tree and green breeze.
Where he could lose so much noise,
so much love, so much love, so much laughter
so Bell as it has been lost.

I'll make you happy suffer so much
I'll make you happy suffer so much
I will make you happy. You suffer so much
that you put you my name to the sadness.
Poorly contrasted, in your balance begins
the caress worth less than crying.
How much going to enrich me and how much
you're going to embarrass your poverty
When learn alone what beauty
It is the bitter side of the charm.
To be as happy as I have been,
He kisses the spina, trembles before the rose,
bless with the stricken lip,
you play integer against anything.
I integer I played. I already lost.
See if my revenge is generous.

Oh what work I can!
love you like I love you!
For your love hurts me the air,
the heart
and the hat.
Who I would buy me?
This headband I have
and this sadness of thread
White, to make scarves?
Oh what work I can!
love you like I love you!
Oh what work I can!
love you like I love you!
For your love hurts me the air,
the heart
and the hat.
Who I would buy me?
